I have a mixed view of the world of mass tourism, that is partially encapsulated by this photo, taken by the gateway to the Cruise Terminal in Rhodes. The 'large' lady walks blindly past the tiny gypsy child, busking on a toy accordian. But perhaps she doesn't mind, because she has bought an 'ethnic' bag, a far more tangible return on the outlay for her holiday experience!
